Recover iPhone text messages

Old text messages have been deleted need to be recover.

Unless you house your messages in iCloud, they are saved on your iPhone backup. Restore that backup to retrieve the messages that were present when the backup was created.

No. it may lower the probability they will succeed, however.


You never told us anything about your last iPhone backup. If it was in iCloud, and if you had insufficient space to complete the backup, that will affect your probability of success.


If you have no valid iOS backup, or if you house your messages in iCloud, as previously explained, your deleted messages are gone.
