I got a iTunes gift card September 3 2021 and I can’t redeem it

I still can’t redeem my iTunes gift card. I took it back to kohl’s Department store and it just says Error when they try to properly activated. What shall I do now. I try redeeming it on iTunes Store and it says invalid
You're kind of monkey-in-the-middle on this one. You can try Apple but Apple might tell you to go to Kohl's and Kohl's will tell you to go to Apple.
The people here are just other consumers like you and there is absolutely nothing we can do other than to guide you.
I got a message that says prepaid gift card is not properly activated. Do I need to go back to Kohl’s with the receipt?
That would be your first step.
