Hi every time I get an app from the App Store , I keep having to re enter my password all the time I need this to stop please help

Eric thanks for your help. it takes Tim learning new things on any Mac computer especially when you haven't had one in a while. I found the settings required and the problem has appeared to have improved so thanks again.
Go to System Preferences/AppStore/Password Settings and you can make changes there.
