Saving a file in the right folder in Pages

How do you save a PDF that was attached to an e-mail to its correct folder? Dragging the icon doesn't work, nor is the "move" option available when the file is selected. It stays stubbornly in the parent "Word Docs" folder. I am on a MacBook Pro 2020 with M-1 chip. I am used to Word and am new to Pages.

You right-click on that PDF attachment in Mail and among the choices is the ability to save the PDF anywhere you want.

Although you can open that PDF in Word 16.31 or later on the Mac and convert it to a .DOCX file, Pages cannot open PDF, and you can only drag/drop a single page PDF into Pages as a document object.
