Are there step by step instructions on how to install Big Sur? It looks like I have the storage space, just don't know how to proceed. I have IMac 27in late 2015.

I have a late 2015 IMac and am running OS High Sierra. I want to install Big Sur and it looks like I have enough storage space to do that. Are there step by step instructions on how to do that. I am a novice. Also once installed do I de-install High Sierra.

Please use Software Update and follow the on-screeen directions. Software Update is in the Mac App Store.

"Launch App Store from home screen or using Spotlight. If you are on your browser screen, click the Apple logo on the upper-left corner of the screen and select App Store. Click Update on the top toolbar of App Store window, wait for a few seconds and you will see Software Update. Click the Update button. "
