Contacts

I have just come back from abroad and some of my contatcs are only showing as numbers or "maybe Diane" etc, when I look at the detail there is a - (dash) inserted in the phone number, any ideas??

Contacts not syncing My contacts keep saving under different number formats so when someone calls me it doesnt recognise the contact and comes up as a random number. I have synced to icloud and stopped numerous times, changed location and back to UK and it still does it constantly and its driving me mad. Can anyone help? this has only doen this since upgrading to iphone 12 pro. Thanks

Unlike some Android devices, contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other
