You cannot directly save anything from an iPhone to an external drive. However, you can upload it to Cloud Drives (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox, Flickr, box, AmazonDrive, Adobe Creative Cloud etc) and download it from there to any drive.
- If you have the Files app on your device.
Open the Voice Memo > Tap "..." > Scroll Down > Save to Files
- If you do not have Files App on your device.
Open the Voice Memo > Tap "..." > Scroll Down > Tap Share > There are mutiple options. (Message / email etc..)
