volume of MacBook Pro goes down automatically

I have recently bought MacBook Pro M1 chip , however when I use the apple wired headphones with it the volume keeps going down to zero , I have set up the volume to max in preferences , but I have to keep increasing the volume again and again , can't find a solution. it becomes really irritating after a while.

Seems like this is a bug...

Have you tried other alternative headphones to test by comparison.
