I have a used Macbook Pro, but previous owner's ID is using Find My. How to change to mine?

The laptop has been wiped clean, updated to latest OS, and all files from my old macbook have been migrated and I'm set to roll. Except Find My has the previous owner's apple ID and is asking for his password. How do I change this to MY info?

Hi woozie 1234,

You'll need to contact the previous owner and get him to remove Activation Lock on his side. This might involve him remotely erasing your Mac.
