I have an iMac. But there is no Touch ID in System Preferences with macOS Big Sur 11.6. Where can I find it and how to set up Touch ID?

The Apple Support article you got here from describes how to troubleshoot Touch ID on an iMac M1 model with the iMac Magic Keyboard with Touch ID.

Touch ID is not available on any iMac prior to the M1 models.
