iPhone 13 pro camera issues

Is anyone else having problems with thin green lines appearing on camera app and remaining on the photos when you take a photo? Not sure if it’s a bug in the software or my iPhone 13 pro has a defect?

That is common lens flare. It's a reflection off the sensor when there is a bright light in a low lit setting.

Before you took the photo, the green line was plainly visible in the photo before you took it. The way to avoid flares of any kind is to recognize them before you take a picture, and you would reangle the camera relative to the light. There really is nothing wrong with your phone or the software. There are situations where flares will be present and you the photographer need to recognize them and accommodate the angles to eliminate them.

Also you took this photo with the camera vertically. The reason it posted the way it did, is you take photos like this with the camera in landscape. Had you taken the photo in landscape it would have posted correctly in this forum.
