Why in the holy **** do I need to add my passcode several times a day to unlock my iPhone in lieu Face ID? Just updated to iOS 15. So must be new feature and I assume it means Face ID security must be weak

You should only need to enter your passcode periodically to activate FaceID.

If it's always asking for your passcode, your TrueDepth camera may not be operating properly.

If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support
