Need to update phone on computer, cannot get it done with Itunes

You can update your iPhone manually using your computer. Learn how to update your device manually ➔ if you're using a Mac with macOS Catalina or later, or ➔ if you're using a Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier or a Windows PC.

Note, that in some cases, iTunes will be required. For example when you use a Windows based computer or an older Mac with an older macOS.
