my hp USB printer cannot print anymore after upgrading to Big Sur

I'm sure I'm not alone. Has anyone found a working solution? I've tried everything and am sick of this nonsense.

If you do not have an Air Print capable printer, you will have to download and install a print driver that is compatible with Bug Sur. You will find that on your printer manufacturer's web site. You say you've tried everything. What does the mean? You should know that when an operating system is updated or upgraded, it is not uncommon for a printer or scanner to stop functioning. Updated software for the device is often the answer. Now you know what to do the next time this happens.
