Hi mobeenkamali,

Before you proceed, check if macOS already resides on your Mac:

  1. Power on or restart your Mac while holding down the Option key.
  2. Release the Option key when a selection of startup disks appear. If you see a padlock instead, a firmware password is set on your Mac and must be entered to continue.
  3. If you see a disk named "Macintosh HD" or something similar, use the arrow keys to select that disk.
  4. Hold down the Control key and hit Enter to start up from macOS, and set it as your default operating system. Afterwards, if you want to boot Windows again, you can boot it once by completing the above steps, but don't hold down the Control key.

If you're still looking to erase everything (both Windows and macOS, and all of their data) on your Intel-based MacBook Pro and reinstall macOS, make sure you have a strong Internet connection, then follow these steps:

  1. Start up from macOS Recovery: Hold down Command-R as you power on or restart your Mac. Release the keys when the Apple logo and a progress bar appear, or when a spinning globe appears. In the second case, you might be asked to select a Wi-Fi network to proceed.
  2. If you're asked for a macOS administrator password, enter it to continue.
  3. The main utilities window should appear. Select Disk Utility and click Continue.
  4. In Disk Utility, click the View button, then select Show All Devices.
  5. Select the top level of the internal drive and click Erase. Choose these options, then click Erase:
    1. Name: Macintosh HD
    2. Format: APFS
    3. Scheme: GUID Partition Table/Map
  6. When the erase is complete, quit Disk Utility.
  7. Make sure you're connected to a Wi-Fi network in the top right corner of the screen.
  8. Select Install macOS and click Continue.
  9. Follow the onscreen instructions to download and install macOS.
