If you’ve not already tried it, pair the iPhone with the infotainment system.

If that sequence is not working, check for and apply any firmware update available from the infotainment system vendor, and try pairing again.

You’ve confirmed your infotainment system supports CarPlay, and your infotainment system firmware is current?
