Update version 12.5.5

Can I update my iPhone 6 from version 12.5.5 to 13.1? I use automatic updates but when attempting to load an app it says I need version 13.1 but my phone is 12.5.5 and says it’s up to date

An iPhone 6 cannot update past iOS 12.5.5. You need a new phone.
