I have searched an excel file which contains the specific data by putting the specific data (number) in Finder Search and it was great. Recently "Finder" does not show the file when there is an excel file in my Mac. Is there are any reason for this? It never happened before.
Maybe try shutting down and restarting the Mac once and do a PRAM reset.
