I have a white flashing light on my Apple TV. Help

Since you are on tvOS 14 my guess is that the Apple TV is updating to tvOS 15.

Update Apple TV software - Apple Support

“During the update process, don’t disconnect your Apple TV. The status light may flash slowly during the update process.”

If the flashing status light persists, then that indicates a failure to start up.

First try a cold restart (disconnect from power for a minute or two), as that may sometimes be enough. Else the system software may need to be reinstalled through a computer. See: Restore your Apple TV - Apple Support

Or just toss it in the garbage. After countless hours of trying and time spent on the phone, there was no resolution to fixing other to send it in and pay $100 for apple to fix it.
