Trackpad not working after upgrade to Monterey

After I upgraded my Intel Macbook Pro to macOS Moterey the trackpad stopped working. When I turn the Macbook on, it works in the screen where we have to input the password. But after that, it just stops working.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.0

Hi leonardoam,

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Ummm ... Could this option have been accidentally triggered ?

"Ignore built-in trackpad when mouse or wireless trackpad is present"

See: "Change Mouse & Trackpad preferences for accessibility on Mac"

https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/mac-help/unac899/mac

Hope this helps :-)
