Unfortunately when I try to download High Sierra with this link (using Safari and with the app store off to begin) I get a message that says "this copy of High Sierra is damaged and can't be used" or something like that. Tried on a different computer, too. Any ideas?

Delete any copy of “Install macOS High Sierra” that you find in your Applications folder and empty the trash.
Then download a fresh copy of the installer and try again.
