Was upgrading to Monterey left the room for a few and came back and my MacBook Pro is shut off and will not turn back ion

Mine is totally dead. Told me to go to apple store and they think hooking it up to another Mac etc can update firmware and fix it. Gonna have to make a a few hour trip to store to do that. If I mailed it in it was gonna be over $650. So I guess I’ll take my chance on driving to a store and see if it works. It’s 2020 MacBook Pro. So frustrating.

Yes. It was plugged in.
