Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.

To update your iPhone, see: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. You can update iPhone wirelessly without a Mac.

To upgrade your Mac, first check compatibility and download the macOS upgrades, if any: How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support. You may also be able to upgrade to macOS Monterey: macOS Monterey is compatible with these computers - Apple Support and How to upgrade to macOS Monterey - Apple Support.
