Is there a Smart Cover for iPad mini 6

I would like to get just a cover (front piece) only not a case or folio that covers both the back and front.

Such an item is available for earlier minis but I have not found one for the series 6.

I was wondering if there is a technical reason why the 6 can’t have a cover?
