Gifting an app

i'm trying to gift an app the directions were to hit share button.

The share icon does not have a gift purchase option underneath it. I have already purchased the app for myself and now I want to give it to someone else.

In this example (not the actual)

I understand that I should be able to tap the share button in the upper right corner and get an option to gift purchase. When I tap this I only get an option to share via messages or another app. Not even an option to purchase as a gift.

Unfortunately As I stated above…

The share icon does not have a gift purchase option underneath it. I have already purchased the app for myself and now I want to give it to someone else…. I’m not sure if it’s because I purchased it already but there is definitely no gift icon.
