Backup with Mac or PC:

If you backup with iCloud, it would be a subscription, and you would pay monthly for leasing your storage. So, if this were me, I'd just back it up using a computer (Mac or PC). That way, I don't have to spend money for all of this. You might want to consider doing the same.
