I could always attach a photo under finders. there was that option to choose photo. But now that option has disappeared and I do not have a way to attach a photo to my email or project. please help me get photos added back in as a choice in finders.

Easiest way is to use the attach button from your email app (Ususally a paper clip), then browse your photos library as shown here:

When composing an email message, I click on the PHOTO Icon and open photos. I can select a photo or, several, but that is all it does. There is no way to then attach it to the mail message. There is ne Help for this in the app either. Pretty poor...

Have you tried my suggestion above? You don't open the photos app.

I figured out that I can click on the photo icon when composing a message, which opens photos. Once photos are ope I can select them and then drag them into the message. Thanks!
