Maps in CarPlay will not track current location. When I look at the iPhone it shows my location but on my CarPlay in my truck it shows the starting location. Same is true withe the Waze app. Everything else seems to work fine.

yep, try to reset CarPlay from your device:
Go into general settings for the CarPlay.
Push the “forget this car” button.
This will sever the connection and you can then reestablish it.

have you tried to unpair phone (delete the device) in your radio?
No I haven't. I connect the CarPlay thru a lightning cable should I still unpair?
It works! I unpaired the iPhone then restarted the iPhone and it works!
