family sharing

I am starting family sharing to be able to take care and support my mom's icloud storage needs. I just upgraded my iCloud storage to 2Tb, yet, I can't manage to accept the family sharing invite I sent to her iPhone.

My apple account is associated to the US, my mom's is associated to Spain. Would that be the problem? Thank you!

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help with Family Sharing. It sounds like you are unable to use Family Sharing with your mother who is in another country.


You are correct. Family sharing does require that all users be in the same country or region.
