upgraded to monterey 12.0.1all videos Choppy playback

Whenever I try playing videos now, on the internet, made by me on go pro, youtube they all playback choppy now. MacBook pro 2015 16GB memory. Strangely firefox is unaffected but quicktime and safari lag

This has not resolve over the two weeks Ive installed this. Ideas happily welcome.
