Why does selecting “outside walk” not close your exercise ring but selecting “other” and walking the same distance close it? Seems like I never get much of my exercise ring closed when selecting “outside or indoor walk” no matter what distance I walk.

With outdoor walk you need to be moving at 3.3 mph of faster.

It is not distance but speed

With other you can sit around your TV room eating popcorn with moving your arm every few minutes and it will count.
