I have iPhone 13 and just got a MacBook Air (M1, 2020). I want to copy my music and photos from my iPhone to my Mac. I can not find a way. Any advise?

How did you get the music on your phone to begin with? Either synced from your computer or downloaded from the iTunes Store. So, you either move your library from your old computer to your new one, or download your previous purchases to your new computer.
When I click on my iphone in photo app no pictures show up.
Also, I can’t import my music.
Then there are no pictures on your phone. Where were the pictures before the iPhone 13?
your Music is synced from your computer to your iPhone. Any music that you had purchased can be downloaded again.
I have no music on my Mac, that’s why I want to copy from my iPhone to Mac.
My old Mac died and I could not retrieve anything from it.
My MacBook died, I cannot get anything off mine either, cannot download my music from my phone, iPads or the cloud, what good is backing up and paying $10 a month?
Backing up is essential, especially should your computer die. You'll then have everything you need to restore your data to a new machine.
Just paid over 2 grand for a new macbook yesterday and can't use the music I've had for 15 years!
except all of my music!!!
