screen capture stopped working

My screen capture (Command Shift 4) has stopped working. I am on 11.5.2. Somewhat humorously, my old Mac still works.

I like Screenshot in Launchpad Other. Has worked consistently in every OS starting in 2015 when I got my first iMac.

Drug and dropped it from there to my dock so it's easier to get to.
