FCPX to Davinci Resolve XML roundtrip - Images have crushed black in FCPX

When roundtripping RED RAW based project from FCPX to Davinci Resolve for grading the images look different when imported back into FCPX (Prores 4444XQ codec, data levels FULL, debayer forced to highest quality).


The blacks are crushed, highlights are higher. The image looks different. Please help!!!

I have found the fix to this issue. Apparently in this workflow I need to setup Davinci project settings with a REC 709A timeline instead of REC709. This link has more detail for those who are suffering from same issue (I would strongly recommend downloading the infographic as it simplifies the issue and recommended solution:
