Can anyone help me to trick my Mac into exporting a small Camtasia movie to QuickTime or MP4 or?
I upgraded to Monterey, installed the latest 2021 Camtasia, and sill it does not work.
Once I attempt to export to a mini movie, the system crashes.
Any suggestions?
(I have Camtasia on a PC at my office and it works fine. Also, I have Camtasia on an older Mac and it works quite well, except for the fact that the older Mac is older and slow.)

Boot into Safe Mode, and try again.
Safe Mode rebuilds caches, disables various problematic add-ons, and can sometimes resolve odd app issues.
Failing that, contact Camtasia app support.

In the event someone else is having the same problem, SNAGIT (same company that produces Camtasia) works fine.
Eliminating the need to convert to QuickTime/MP4. It records as MP4, and no conversion is needed.
(Camtasia and Monterey is still a problem for me.)
