hello, I am having trouble downloading iTunes onto my MacBook. Could you please help?

The iTunes app was discontinued on Macs when macOS Catalina was released. It cannot be installed on Macs that are running Catalina, Big Sur, or Monterey. It was replaced by other apps. See: What happened to iTunes? - Apple Support

iTunes was replaced by the Music app a few generations ago. The Music app is already installed on your Mac.
