Where to Obtain the Serial Number:

• Original Packaging
• Purchase Transcript
• On the iPhone itself:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: About
3. View: second item-down
4. Enter: the Serial Number here: https://checkcoverage.apple.com

The easiest method:

Click Settings > General > About and choose AppleCare+ Coverage Available.
