  1. can any one tell me what thunderbolt version i have in my new Macbook Air 202 Version with M1 chip?
  2. how many monitors i can connect with it?
  3. when connecting extra display, will that just mirror my display or i can extend it ?

Hi Pritpal1982!


  1. Your MacBook Air has Thunderbolt 3 (USB 4).
  2. The M1 chip only supports one external monitor.
  3. You can choose whether you want the external display to be separate or mirror your built-in display. To change that setting, go to System Preferences -> Displays.
