Upgrade High Sierra to Catalina

I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro (9,2), which I believe should be able to install Catalina, however it doesn't appear in Software Updates or the App Store. How do I install it in this instance?

Details:

10.13.6 (High Sierra)

BootRom: 233.0.0.0.0

SMC version: 2.2f41

If you need any other information please ask.

Many thanks,

Scott

Hi Niel,

many thanks for swift reply - I clicked on your Catalina link and it is now downloading. It is a new to me Mac so I have no data or apps on it yet. I needed Catalina as some apps I want to use aren’t compatible with High Sierra.

thanks again,

Scott
