Where can I buy a brand new MacbookAir with i7 Intel? Not a referbished one.

Does Apple not sell any kind of mac anymore that does not include their M1 chip? I have been looking for a brand new Macbook Air with intel that's not been referbished. Is there nowhere that sells this?

Supply & Demand:

Don't forget about where these are manufactured, and what is occurring: COVID. It's a matter of Supply & Demand. It took me 6 weeks to order my iPhone. It may take the same amount of time for you.

Contact Apple Support:

Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

Direct from Apple refurbished Macs have the same identical warranty as a brand new Mac and are also eligible for AppleCare+ coverage. In some ways, they might actually be better than new since they are much more tested and scrutinized as to their functionality.

In addition, often, what Apple puts on their refurbished site are simply returns from people that determined what they purchased was not the right "fit" for them, but go through the same scrutiny as a fully refurbished model. It simply just can't be sold as new anymore.

Now, refurbished or "renewed" from any place other than Apple will have very limited warranties and questionable quality.

Perhaps if you were to look into locations of authorized resellers

that could be where a few leads for finding new/old-stock Macs.

[Find an Apple Store -or- other retailer]

• Apple - Find Locations (sales, service, support, AASP)

https://locate.apple.com/

There are links to check in Other regions/countries; those generally

may not have an official Apple Store; just Apple authorized resellers.

• Apple - Find Locations - Location Selector (global regions/countries)

https://locate.apple.com/findlocations

For those locations, what can be found are independent businesses;

authorized to sell, & repair too: Authorized Apple Service Providers.

Smaller local Apple authorized resellers may know of New/old stock.

However models may be sold out; or available as factory refurbished.

Apple [online] Refurbished has (2) MB/Air 'Intel-based' models today.

these qualify for AppleCare+ (& also 4 - 6 'lower-end M1' MB/Air.)

(MacBook/Air Intel-mac one : And Intel-mac two (both near alike)

[Among MacBook Pro are 'Intel' -&- 'M1' upper end' refurbished

All these refurbished ones qualify for AppleCare Extended Plan.]

Good luck & happy trails!

..crash22244:

Perhaps if your search has fortunate conclusion, a fair deal

will be the result. ~ I've several OK deals; & two good ones.

[A few were shipped overland by truck in sub-zero temps.]

At least one was a great deal, almost sent it back. Talked to

Apple representative at Apple sales online; & chose to not.

Sometimes the Apple refurbished site has 'Clearance' new

models; found 2012 quad-core Mini server w/ 2HDD there.

In technologies, time moves quick; in accelerated 'dog yrs'.

Mine are almost antique now.. down to four..!
