how do I change the order of the playlists in the left hand column in iTunes. I want to put my 'BLUES' playlist next to my "JAZZ' playlist

The playlists in the sidebar sort automatically according to their names. To change it you can change their names. Call them "01 Blues" and "02 Jazz" and the will end up together.
