How do I activate my new Apple Watch 7 as a stand alone cellular number, I no longer use my iPhone 7 but still have it, I just don’t have the iPhone 7 active because I use a Motorola phone instead. My carrier is Tmobile.

I can’t activate my Apple Watch because I no longer use my iPhone 7 for cellular, I use a Motorola phone. I still have my iPhone 7, it’s just not active as my current phone. I purchased a cell number already for my watch but it still doesn’t send/receive calls or messages.

You MUST have an eligible cellular service plan with a supported carrier. Your iPhone and Apple Watch MUST use the same carrier, and you MUST be within your carrier's network when you set up cellular on your watch. There is no other way. For more info, see:
