SIM card from the previous iPhone

I bought iPhone 13. It works without SIM card. I still have my SIM card in my previous iPhone X. What do I need to do with an old SIM card?

If you are planning to dispose of the previous phone remove the SIM card and follow these instructions→What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. If you are keeping the phone to use as an iPod leave the SIM card in it.
