Upgrading my MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2014) (version 10.5)

How can i upgrade my MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2014) (version 10.5)? And to which iOS?

Nothing figures when i select software update on the 'about by mac'. I tried installing Montery but the installing seems to stall towards the end.

Hi, Caroline_India, I think I can help you....

Mac OS Monterey has certain requirements.....if your Mac meets those requirements, then you are OK for Monterey.....

if not, then you cannot run Monterey, but, rather, Catalina, which is a a fine Mac OS.....anyways, here's those requirements (handy link posted) https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212551
