iPhone won’t fully charge

Why does my iPhone stop charging at 80%? It says it will complete by morning, but it doesn’t.

iPhone XR, iOS 15

Optimized Battery Charging is on by default when you set up your iPhone or after updating to iOS 13 or later. To turn off the feature, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health > Optimized Battery Charging.

Appears to be a bug starting in iOS 15.1. Are others having same issue? I would prefer to fix the feature rather than turn it off.

Probably nothing much to worry about for now - they will soon patch this.
