Got a new iPhone 13. Went through setup process. Only got 2 texts transferred to new phone. How do I get all my old texts?

Got a new iPhone 13. Went through the steps to set up. Only transferred 2 texts from old phone. How do I get all my old texts.

Turned out to be a conflict between settings on my new phone and my iPad mini. All ok now.
