Airdrop not working on newer phone.

Any idea why my Airdrop won't work on my iPhone 12 mini? Instructions for earlier phone designs don't work: Settings > Control Center > Airdrop.

Any information provided would be appreciated.

To turn on AirDrop on your iPhone, go to Settings>General>AirDrop. From there, determine what settings you wish to use. After that, you access AirDrop from a sharing menu. See this updated support document. How to use AirDrop on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
