I already subscribe to Apple TV+ and I recently bought a Macbook Air. When I click on the Apple TV+ app it asked if I wanted to start a free trial. It doesn't give me an option to logon to the subscription that I already have.

In the TV app on your Mac you should see an Account drop down in the toolbar and a sign in option below it. Enter your credentials and you will be into your account.
