Unrequested password reset email

I got what looks like a legit password reset email from Apple. Two things, though: I never tried to reset my password, and the email is entirely in Russian, so I'm guessing someone (or some bot) tried to access my account.


I didn't click any of the links, and I still have access to my account, but what's the safest course of action here? Should I definitely change my password? Is there a way I can tell if my account has been compromised?

You might want to consider changing your password and making sure it is a strong one. You can also add 2 Factor Authentication to your account for more security. If the attempts continue, you might want to consider a name change.
