Is there any Anti Virus software/Tool (Mcafee or any) recommended for Mac. Current OS is macOS Big Sur version 11.6.2

Malwarebytes is a safe app to run and it may resolve this problem. That said, do not ever install any antivirus apps as they are not needed. The Mac's operating system protects itself and installing an antivirus app will seriously slow down your computer and can cause many other issue you don't need.
